A forum moderators are like invisible heroes. They keep the topics organised and the community safe and free from online harassment. They make decisions regarding content and they edit, delete user-generated content and ban users.

Some moderators are virtually invisible; some moderators are likely to be familiar with the members in private forums linked to a website or group. But anyway using policies aligned with the forum, they have to detect inappropriate images and user-generated comments like profanity, insults, unwanted advertisement, bullying and hateful sayings and remove them to protect community members.

They are also responsible for increasing the conversations in a healthy way and encourage people to join.
